9 AM – 6 PM, 40 hours/week

Monday & Friday (WFH); office days:

Salary: £38k – £43k per annum, depending on experience.

Description of the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned professional with a minimum of three years in an agency setting, who can translate complex, technical topics into consumer PR. You will work with diverse teams across multiple campaigns, manage media relations, and oversee a portfolio of client accounts.

Your core responsibilities will be:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers across national, trade, vertical and social media channels.
  • Provide regular progress reports to clients, ensuring KPIs are met in a proactive and reactive manner.
  • Plan, grab, and execute campaign elements (erise, press trips) to a high standard, meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Manage your team and allocate resources effectively.
  • Guide the development هېل‘of campaigns from brief through delivery with support from senior PR and Advocacy staff.
  • Ensure all junior staff copies are consistently high quality through practice, guidance, and rigorous editing.
  • —strategic approach to brief interrogation, uncovering insights that inform creative direction.
  • Demonstrate creative ideation experience and contribute to creative briefs.
  • Maintain proficiency in creating presentations, documents and spreadsheets, and using project‑management tools.

Account and team management

  • Thrive in an agile environment with obsessive attention to detail, organisational flexibility and natural problem‑solving.
  • Build strong relationships at all levels with clients and internally.
  • Mentor and oversee junior staff.
  • Drive day‑to‑day project activities and deliver on a commercial basis.
  • Own project timelines and deadlines, implementing improved task and time‑management processes.
  • Ensure delivery of all account outputs on time and within budget.
  • Foster positive client relationships through excellent client handling and consistently exceeding expectations.

Required skills

  • Excellent written English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective teamwork during pitches and presentations.
  • Remain calm under pressure, anticipating and solving problems.

  • Experience in line‑management and mentoring.
  • Integrated marketing experience.

Additional skills for bonus points

  • Experience working on global accounts or with non‑UK clients.
  • Knowledge of European PR markets and institutions.
