Graphic Designer – Membership & Digital (Fixed-Term 12 months) Role Summary

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to bring bold, engaging, and brand‑led creative to our Membership and Digital Content channels. As part of the Creative Team, you’ll be dedicated to membership, marketing, and digital projects, and will produce standout visual assets that support campaigns across email, social, web, digital, and more. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term role perfect for a recent graduate or junior designer who loves turning ideas into compelling visuals that drive engagement, tell stories, and strengthen the connection with our community.

You’ll work closely with teams across the business to create high‑quality, consistent, and impactful design work that reflects the energy and personality of GB News.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design compelling creative assets for marketing campaigns, membership communications, and digital activations.
  • Develop email templates, newsletters, and digital collateral that support membership growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Produce web, social media, and paid advertising assets, ensuring brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Digital teams to develop campaign visuals and creative concepts that capture attention and encourage action.
  • Support membership and community events with high‑quality promotional and digital design materials.
  • Manage multiple design briefs simultaneously with speed, creativity, and attention to detail in a fast‑paced media environment.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, digital formats, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance creative output.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with Canva or Figma advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of digital design principles, social media formats, and web‑ready graphics.
  • A sharp eye for typography, layout, and colour, with a clean, modern aesthetic.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • A proactive, self‑motivated approach and willingness to collaborate across teams.
