Betches is a comedy-led media brand for women with a global audience of 250M+ across social, podcasts, web, live formats and e-commerce. Our honest, witty and culturally fluent takes turns the internet’s latest in pop culture, dating, fashion, beauty and sport into content that feels like the group chat — and has built a uniquely loyal global community.
If you know your Real Housewives franchises inside out, your UK Huns like your A-Zs, stay across Love Island drama as it’s unfolding, clock fashion and beauty moments the second they land, and can quote Gemma Collins like it’s second nature, you already understand the Betches UK voice.
About the RoleWe’re looking for a bold, creative and culturally fluent Content Creator to help shape the Betches UK voice on Instagram and Tik Tok. This role sits right at the centre of how we show up on social, creating original comedy-led content, reacting to cultural moments, and becoming one of the on-camera faces of Betches UK.
What the opportunity looks like- Create original, entertaining and culturally relevant short-form content for Betches UK, including sketches, EGC, reactions and cultural takes with comedy at its core.
- Ideate, script, self-shoot and edit daily EGC, sketches, reactions and trend-led content using mobile-first tools (Cap Cut preferred).
- Feature on-camera as a recurring personality within the Betches UK universe.
- Create lo-fi memes, graphics and text-led posts using Canva, with strong instincts for reacting to pop culture, internet moments and trends in a distinctly Betches way.
- Help shape and evolve the comedic identity of Betches UK, delivering scroll-stopping content that feels timely, self-aware and culturally fluent.
- Closely monitor cultural conversation, TV shows, trending audios, fashion and beauty launches, celebrity news, and the latest in Hun-world, turning reactive ideas into content at speed.
- Develop sketches, formats and recurring social franchises, with oversight and direction from the Editorial Content Lead.
- Work alongside the team’s Social Media Journalists on editorial-leaning content, including interviews, commentary-led videos and reactive showbiz moments.
- Contribute to brand growth, recognition and audience engagement through consistent, standout creative work.
- Represent Betches UK at PR events, launches and industry moments, capturing content on the ground and building a network of relevant contacts.
- Bring the Big Hun Energy!
- 2+ years’ experience in performance and/or comedy, where entertaining people and making them laugh has been a real part of your work, whether that’s on stage, online, or a mix of both.
- A strong track record of coming up with ideas and turning them into short-form videos, especially fast, reactive stuff tied to pop culture, reality TV or whatever the internet’s yelling about that day.
- Proper comic instincts. You understand timing, pacing and when a bit needs committing to, and you’re comfortable pushing past awkwardness to make something land.
- Comfortable self-shooting and editing your own content using Cap Cut or similar mobile-first tools.
- A good grasp of meme formats and lo-fi social posts, with enough Canva confidence to knock out quick, funny graphics when needed.
- A solid understanding of social platforms and how they behave, including what formats and hooks work on Tik Tok versus Instagram, why they differ, and how to read performance to sense what’s landing and what’s…
