Position Overview

We are looking for up to 10 Audio‑Visual Trainees who will undertake a 9‑10 week training scheme with assessment points along the way, where you will learn everything you need to know about being a Live Event Technician. Training will cover 4 main themes:

  • Audio setup and operation
  • Video and projection system set up and operation
  • Lighting set up and operation
  • 5‑star Customer Service training

After the intensive training is completed, you will be placed at one of our central London locations where you will continue to learn the requirements of the role on the job, supported by our fantastic venue teams and learning partners.

As an AV Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting with the setup and operation of audio, lighting, and video equipment at a range of corporate events. You will work closely with experienced Trainers to learn how to install and operate equipment such as microphones, speakers, projectors, video wall and lighting systems. You will also learn how to troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during events.

This is a full-time permanent role with expected progression to Technician.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a 5‑star hospitality environment, have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a passion for technology. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. although a keen interest in live events would be beneficial.
