🗓️ Contract type:
Fixed Term Contract to July 2026

📍 London with Hybrid work setup

At Host Broadcast Services (HBS), we bring the world’s biggest sporting moments to life — ensuring every image, highlight, and story reaches a global audience. We’re now looking for a Technical Programme Manager to oversee Non‑Live workflows at the FIFA World Cup 26™, supporting HBS Production, Federation teams, and Media Partners in delivering world‑class broadcast operations.

The role will be key to ensuring seamless ingest, editing, archiving, and content distribution — coordinating across HBS teams, FIFA, and external suppliers to align requirements, manage expectations, and deliver reliable, on‑time solutions.

  • Coordinate the setup and delivery of ingest, editing, media management, and distribution facilities at the Non‑Live Hub in London.
  • Manage schedules, milestones, and reporting to ensure full operational readiness ahead of matchday operations.
  • Serve as the technical and operational shift lead for ingest and distribution during live match days and ceremonies.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and management of technical staff, ensuring workflows are consistently followed.
  • Collaborate with HBS teams, IT, and suppliers to resolve issues under time‑critical conditions.
  • Maintain and improve workflow documentation, SOPs, and operational records; lead post‑event reviews.

What makes a successful candidate?

  • 5+ years’ experience in programme, project, or product management in broadcast, post‑production, or media operations.
  • Strong understanding of digital production workflows — ingest, editing, asset management, and distribution.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator), and workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Helmut FX or equivalent).
  • Experience with storage and media management systems, transcode workflows, and large‑scale file transfer.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.
  • Strong communicator with experience working across broadcasters, service providers, or major event organisations.

HBS is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates and will provide reasonable adjustments to support candidates with disabilities or specific needs throughout the recruitment process.

We thrive on delivering world‑class broadcast solutions for major international events. We’re always looking for exceptional individuals who demonstrate:

Strong Communication Skills – Fluent in English, able to navigate an international environment with clarity and professionalism.

Confident & Adaptable Team Players – Thriving in fast‑paced, live event settings, where collaboration is key to success.

Technical Excellence & Organisation – Structured, detail‑oriented, and proficient in the tools needed to keep operations seamless.

Who is HBS?

You’ve probably watched a football game at some point in your life. Well, if it was a World Cup match, it was likely filmed and produced by the HBS (Host Broadcast Services) team. We are involved in the production of the following events: FIFA World Cup 26™, FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™, Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 Australia.

Due to the high volume of applications, we may not be able to respond individually to every candidate, but we will do our best to get back to you regarding next steps. Thank you for your interest in joining HBS.
