Senior Estimator - Fit

Location: London / Remote

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Estimator to join our Estimating team. You will be responsible for producing highly competitive, carefully analysed tender costs and preparing high-quality submissions to clients on new build, refurbishment, and fit-out projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in estimating, with full responsibility for the bidding process from enquiry stage to final submission. You will have extensive knowledge of general building works, estimating strategies, building methodologies, and contract requirements, as well as a strong understanding of factors influencing tender outcomes.

• Prepare enquiry documents using the most suitable methods.
• Source and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations on advantageous terms and in compliance with contract requirements.
• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities from drawings, specifications, and schedules of finishes.
• Calculate site management and preliminary costs.
• Arrange and chair tender adjudication meetings, incorporating agreed actions into final submissions.
• Identify risks, ambiguities, and opportunities within tender documents and factor these into submissions.
• Evaluate tender programme requirements to ensure efficient, cost-effective resourcing.
• Participate in final negotiations with clients.
• Act as a front-line liaison with clients.
• Undertake post-tender and post-contract discussions, including cost evaluation and contract review.
• Travel as required to assess market conditions or meet clients during the tender process.

The role involves travel across the UK and Ireland, sometimes requiring short periods away from home.
