Job Description

A construction consultancy working across the UK retail sector is now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London office. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will support national clients on refurbishment and new build schemes within a dedicated cost management team.

The Company?The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a cost consultancy that works with leading retail clients across the UK. The firm continues to secure long-term frameworks, with a strong pipeline of projects. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work as part of an established team delivering end-to-end quantity surveying services.

The Role
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in managing projects at all stages from feasibility to final account.

The role will include:

  • Delivering quantity surveying services across retail refurbishment and fit-out schemes
  • Managing cost plans and procurement strategies
  • Overseeing contractor appointments and post-contract administration
  • Working closely with project teams and clients to monitor budgets
  • Supporting the development of junior quantity surveyors

The Senior Quantity Surveyor?You will have retail or commercial experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced consultancy environment.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor must have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar RICS-accredited subject
  • Retail or commercial project experience

    Strong pre and post-contract experience
  • Ability to manage client relationships and project teams
  • MRICS or currently working towards chartership
