Role Overview
We are recruiting experienced Site Managers to deliver fast‑paced fitout and refurbishment projects across Glasgow and Edinburgh. These roles offer long-term stability and the chance to work on high‑quality commercial, retail and office fitout schemes ranging from £500k to £10m.
You will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of live projects, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery. You will manage onsite activities, lead subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure that all client requirements are understood and embedded throughout project delivery.
Exceptional leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple operational demands are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the day‑to‑day running of live fitout/refurbishment projects
• Lead all onsite activities, labour, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure safe project delivery and enforce site H&S compliance
• Promote a positive safety culture and take action on any breaches
• Programme works using Asta Power project or MS Project
• Manage site setup, logistics, sequencing, and daily coordination
• Ensure workmanship meets required quality standards
• Monitor site performance, productivity, and subcontractor outputs
• Attend and chair site progress meetings (internal & subcontractor)
• Provide accurate progress updates and maintain project records
• Support operational teams, trades, and supervisors
• Represent the business professionally with clients and stakeholders
• Uphold company values and promote a positive team culture
• Work flexibly, including nights, backshift, and weekends when required
Experience & Background
• Proven experience in fitout and refurbishment projects – essential
• Experience managing retail, commercial, or office fitout works
• Background delivering projects ranging from £500k to £10m
• Strong construction knowledge, including build elements of projects
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
• Experience managing trades, subcontractors, and site teams

• Committed to safe working and quality delivery
Requirements
• Valid UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel and remain site‑based as required
• Fully IT literate (Outlook, Word, Excel – intermediate level)
• Previous management experience in fitout/construction
• Valid CSCS card
• Relevant H&S certifications:
SMSTS
First Aid
UKATA Asbestos Awareness
Fire Warden
Scaffolding Inspection Working Hours
• Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Flexibility required – night shift, backshift, and weekend working may apply depending on project demands.
