Registered Building Inspector - Class 2F

Our client, a prominent local authority in London, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Building Inspector - Class 2F to join their team. This role focuses on building control within the commercial projects sector, contributing to the ongoing development and safety of urban infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting up to six building inspections per day, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Performing on-site inspections four days a week, with one day dedicated to remote work
Providing accurate and detailed reports on building conditions and compliance status
Offering expert advice and guidance on building control matters
Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations throughout all inspections
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices

Job Requirements:

Experience in building control, specifically with commercial projects
Qualification as a Registered Building Inspector (RBI) - Class 2F
Strong understanding of building regulations and construction standards
Ability to conduct thorough and accurate inspections
Excellent report writing and documentation skills
Proficiency in using inspection tools and technology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
