£600-£650 per day (dependent on experience)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Class 3 Registered Building Inspector to support a busy Local Authority in North London on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a key role within the team, managing complex and high-risk building projects and ensuring compliance with current Building Regulations and the Building Safety Regulator framework.

The Role
You will be responsible for a varied and technically challenging caseload, including high-rise and complex developments.

Key responsibilities include:

· Managing and overseeing complex and high-risk building projects

· Conducting site inspections in line with BSR requirements

· Reviewing and approving detailed plans and specifications

· Providing technical guidance to internal teams, developers and stakeholders

· Ensuring compliance with current legislation and regulatory standards
This is a contract role requiring strong technical expertise, sound judgement and the ability to operate independently.
About You
To be considered, you must:

· Be registered as a Class 3 Building Inspector

· Have extensive experience dealing with complex and high-risk buildings

· Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act and BSR processes

· Be confident liaising with developers, duty holders and senior stakeholders

· Have Local Authority experience (preferred)
