We are seeking three experienced Site Engineers (Civil) to join our construction projects across the London area. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring that construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and health and safety requirements. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, site management skills, and effective communication to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

• Oversee and coordinate daily construction site activities in line with project plans and programmes
• Ensure works are carried out in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
• Manage and supervise site operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Monitor progress against programme and report updates to the Project Manager
• Ensure high standards of workmanship, quality control, and site safety at all times
• Identify, resolve, and escalate technical and site-related issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Assist with setting out, surveying, and technical problem-solving on site
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress logs, and quality documentation
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and engineers as required
• Support efficient use of materials, labour, and plant to avoid delays and wastage
• Promote positive working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers

Essential Requirements:

• Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline
• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil or construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications
• Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and site procedures
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Competent in maintaining site documentation and reports
• Willingness to work across various sites within the London area

Desirable:

• CSCS card
• Experience with setting-out equipment and surveying tools
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification
• Previous experience working on UK construction sites
