Demolition Supervisor

I'm currently representing a well-established specialist contractor operating within the demolition, strip-out and structural alteration sector. Due to the commencement of a major top-down demolition project in South West London, they are looking to appoint an experienced Demolition Supervisor to join the team on site.

This is a technically challenging scheme in a constrained urban environment, requiring strong leadership, exceptional safety standards and a solid understanding of structural sequencing.

As Demolition Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the safe and efficient day-to-day running of demolition operations on site.

• Supervising demolition operatives and subcontractors
• Implementing and monitoring RAMS
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and sequencing
• Coordinating with engineers and site management
• Managing plant and logistics within restricted access sites
• Enforcing the highest health & safety standards
• Conducting daily briefings and toolbox talks
• Liaising with local stakeholders where required

• Have proven experience supervising top-down demolition projects
• Demonstrate strong understanding of structural stability and sequencing
• Have worked on projects within tight urban or residential environments
• Hold relevant demolition and safety qualifications (e.g. CCDO Gold/Black Card, SMSTS, First Aid)
• Be confident leading teams and driving safety culture on site
• Have strong communication and coordination skills
