Location: Greater London
Site Manager – Commercial Fit Out & Education Projects (London)
** PLEASE NOTE JOB IS NOT SPECIFICALLY IN FARRINGDON - PROJECTS ALL OVER CENTRAL LONDON*
* We’re working with a growing main contractor looking to strengthen their London team due to an expanding pipeline of secured projects and upcoming tenders. With multiple live schemes and several more in pre-construction, they’re keen to bring in a strong Site Manager who wants to be part of a business that’s building something long term.
The Projects
Current and upcoming schemes include:
* £5.5m office fit out (high-spec, repeat client)
* £1.5m shell & core project
* £5m school refurbishment
* Major college scheme currently in tender
All projects sit within education, commercial office fit out, or shell & core, so a solid commercial background is essential.
The Role
They’re looking for a Site Manager confident delivering projects circa £2m+ independently, capable of running programmes, managing subcontractors, liaising with clients and maintaining quality and safety standards without heavy oversight.
This contractor values people who take ownership. You won’t be micromanaged — you’ll be trusted to run your job, with support there when you need it.
What They’re Looking For
* Proven experience delivering commercial, education or shell & core schemes
* Comfortable running projects up to £2m+ as No.1 on site
* Strong client-facing and organisational skills
* Ambition to grow with a business long term
* Open mindset to potentially move from temp to permanent (ideal scenario), though freelance or permanent options are available
They’re not looking for a “just here for the next job” mindset, they want someone who wants to be part of the journey and help build the London team.

Package
