Position: Senior Associate – Construction (Non-Contentious)
Service Care Legal are working with leading Legal 500 firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its established Projects, Development & Construction team. The role focuses on high-value, non-contentious construction work across regeneration, infrastructure, energy, healthcare, hotels and accommodation sector projects, advising developers, investors, funders, contractors and public bodies in the UK and internationally.

ROLE:
Senior Associate – Construction (Non-Contentious)

LOCATION:

London (Hybrid –2 days per week in the office)
Salary:
£100,000–£130,000
PQE:
6–12 years

Key Responsibilities
 
Draft and negotiate JCT, NEC, FIDIC, EPC/EPCM and bespoke construction and development documentation.
Advise on procurement strategy, risk allocation and project structuring from inception.
Provide non-contentious advisory support on live project issues (payment, delay, EOT, termination, insolvency risk).
Lead matters independently and supervise junior lawyers.
Support client development and sector-focused BD initiatives.
Person Specification
 
6–12 years’ PQE with strong non-contentious construction experience.
Excellent knowledge of standard form and amended construction contracts.
Experience acting for developers, investors and/or accommodation/housing sector clients desirable.
Proven ability to manage files, deadlines and junior team members.
Commercial, collaborative and proactive approach with strong client skills.
