PSR Solutions are working with a well-established contractor delivering retail framework projects across the lower half of England. We are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to commercially manage multiple projects across the Midlands and South.

The company's office is based in Birmingham, however applicants can be based anywhere across the West Midlands, London, or the South of England.

The Role

You will operate as the lead Quantity Surveyor across 2-3 projects at any one time (typically £2m-£6m in value), supported by an Assistant QS.

Projects are delivered through established frameworks with repeat contractors and agreed rates, meaning the role is less tender-heavy and more focused on commercial delivery, cost control, and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

Full commercial management of multiple concurrent projects
Cost control, forecasting, and reporting
Managing subcontractor payments and variations
Producing CVRs and financial reports
Managing contractual compliance and commercial risk
Liaising with framework contractors and internal stakeholders

Projects form part of a national stores programme, requiring travel across the Midlands and South.

Working Arrangement

Birmingham office base
Candidates in the West Midlands would attend the office as required
Candidates based in London or the South can work on a hybrid/remote basis, with office visits as required Requirements

Proven experience operating as a Quantity Surveyor managing multiple projects
Ability to work independently as the commercial lead
Strong cost reporting, forecasting, and CVR experience
Experience working within frameworks (advantageous)
CSCS card (or ability to obtain via professional qualification)
Strong organisational and communication skills
