Position: Skills Inspector (Contract)
Hello there,
I'm reaching out to see if you’re open to supporting Local Authorities with upcoming requirements across Streetworks, Highways Inspection, NEC Supervision, and Clerk of Works roles.
There’s been a steady rise in needs for inspectors who can support:
Streetworks Inspection – reinstatement checks, defects/FPNs, S81s, NRSWA compliance.
Highways Inspection – routine/reactive inspections, defect logging, works orders, safety checks.
NEC Supervision – quality checks, contractor monitoring, NEC3/4 compliance, site reporting.
Clerk of Works – on‑site quality assurance, snagging, compliance against drawings/specs.
Most roles support council programmes such as maintenance, surfacing, compliance inspections, and capital works across mixed urban and rural networks.
