Carriera has been exclusively retained by a well-established property investment and asset management firm to appoint a client-side Building Surveyor as part of its ongoing expansion.

This is a portfolio-led position, providing exposure to asset management strategy, capital projects and investment-driven decision-making across a diverse London portfolio.

You’ll take ownership of surveying and project delivery across a diverse mixed-use portfolio, collaborating closely with the in‑house Property Management and Investment teams.

The position offers a blend of office‑based responsibilities and regular site visits throughout Central and Greater London.

• Managing and surveying a diverse property portfolio
• Delivering multi‑scheme projects up to £15m
• Refurbishment and Cat A / Cat A+ works
• Technical due diligence and asset lifecycle planning
• Advising on building condition, risk and compliance
• Commercial, residential, retail and industrial assets
• Approx. 40% residential / 60% commercial‑led workload
• Exposure to Victorian and Edwardian listed buildings
• Central London–focused estate with long‑term hold strategy

• MRICS‑qualified Building Surveyor essential
• 3–7 years PQE with strong technical capability
• Experience working with traditional and listed buildings
• Comfortable operating in a client‑side or consultancy environment
• Able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
• ESG exposure or interest is advantageous

• Salary up to £80,000 p/a
• Annual pay review + discretionary bonus scheme
