Site Agent

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Agent to support the delivery of a highways infrastructure scheme. The role will involve managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and in line with quality and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage daily site activities on a live highways project

* Supervise subcontractors and direct labour to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

* Assist with short-term planning, method statements, and risk assessments

* Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager

* Ensure works are delivered in accordance with specifications and drawings

* Coordinate with designers, utilities, and other stakeholders as required

* Maintain accurate site records, permits, and documentation

Requirements:

* Proven experience working as a Site Agent on highways or civil engineering schemes

* Strong understanding of highways construction including drainage, earthworks, and surfacing

* Experience working on live traffic environments and under relevant highways standards

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications

* Good leadership, organisational, and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work streams

* Full UK driving licence
