Estimator, Construction, Quantity Surveyor

A well-established RC Frame and Groundworks subcontractor is looking for an Estimator to join their team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with at least 2 years’ experience estimating RC frame or groundworks packages, and who is confident with take-offs and bill preparation.

You will:

* Prepare tender estimates for RC frame and groundworks projects

* Complete take-offs from drawings and prepare bills of quantities accurately and efficiently

* Analyse drawings, specifications, and methodologies to produce competitive, buildable bids

* Engage with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather pricing and input

* Support preconstruction and commercial teams with cost breakdowns, risk assessments, and tender reporting

* Ensure estimates are accurate, consistent, and compliant with client and company requirements

The Ideal Candidate

You will:

* Have at least 2 years’ experience estimating RC frame and/or groundworks projects

* Be confident in take-offs, bills preparation, and cost analysis

* Be commercially aware and able to identify risks and opportunities in project scopes

* Have excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills

* Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other estimating tools

* Be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced tendering environment
