About the Company
A leading UK construction and civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in North West London. The business specialises in groundworks, reinforced concrete (RC) frames, civil engineering, demolition, remediation, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
They deliver complex schemes for major developers, contractors, and local authorities across London and the South East, with a portfolio covering large-scale residential developments, commercial projects, regeneration schemes, and transport infrastructure. With strong growth and a healthy pipeline of secured work, this is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor seeking long-term career progression.
About the Role
As a Quantity Surveyor (RC Frame and Groundworks), you will be a key member of the Commercial team, managing projects typically valued between £5m and £15m.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing project costs, valuations, variations, and payments.
* Working closely with clients and site teams to maximise project profit margins.
* Supporting senior commercial managers while developing client relationships for repeat business.
* Ensuring accurate financial reporting and contributing to successful project delivery.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within RC Frame and Groundworks.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Background in civil engineering or specialist subcontracting is desirable.
