Intermediate Quantity Surveyor (Main Contracting) | Permanent | Hertfordshire / London

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + package

A highly respected and reputable Main Contractor that has been operating for over 80 years has an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, based from their offices in Hertfordshire.

The company carries out high quality restoration and refurbishment services to residential and commercial properties, including listed buildings. Their experience of blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative techniques has led to the business being awarded a number of prestigious projects over the years.

Business is going strong and with a number of exciting projects currently ongoing and in the pipeline, they are looking to bring in an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team. This is a great opportunity to work on some high quality projects and be a key member of the business. The role will be office based with occasional visits to site;

with most projects located in Central London.

Criteria:

• Ideally Degree Qualified
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working for a reputable main contractor
• Strong refurbishment experience (internals and externals)
• Ideally have experience working on listed buildings
• Excellent commercial awareness
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Full UK Drivers’ License
• Able to commute to Bishops Stortford on a daily basis and happy travelling into London for site visits
