Trainee Estimator

An established Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractor is seeking a Junior Estimator / Trainee Estimator (M&E) to support its growing pre-construction and commercial team on London-based projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently studying or recently qualified who is looking to gain practical, hands‑on experience within the M&E construction sector, with clear progression into a long‑term estimating or commercial role.

• Supporting tender submissions and pricing schedules
• Reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and scope documents
• Completing basic material take-offs and labour allowances
• Issuing enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors
• General estimating support and administrative duties

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Organised, proactive, and confident communication skills
• Basic Excel knowledge (training provided where required)
• Genuine interest in Mechanical & Electrical construction and commercial processes

• Hands‑on training and mentorship from an experienced team
• Exposure to live tenders and major London M&E projects
