Your responsibilities We are currently looking for a Contracts Manager with experience in New Build project delivery to join our team in the Greater London and surrounding areas.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced thriving business with opportunities for growth and development. As our new Contracts Manager, you will have extensive experience with developing comprehensive project plans to ensure you deliver successful completed projects on time, incorporating budget control, assisting the design team and resource allocation and team management. You will always have a keen interest in Health and Safety on site, being forefront to safe working environments.
Cost Management is paramount. You will be capable of monitoring project budgets, control costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Using your network of supply chain partners, you will be able to coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment required for construction projects. You will coordinate with all the design team and consultants, contractors and subcontractors on your projects, ensuring communication with all parties including stakeholders are clear and concise.
As part of the delivery of projects, you will have broad experience in overseeing the pre-construction of all new projects, including design phases, from RIBA stage 2 through to RIBA stage 6. In this new role, you will manage schedules with all parties, ensuring that milestones are met, and projects are completed on time. Your management of all construction packages will be strengthened with your ability to build and lead a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors and suppliers, in order to execute projects effectively.
Your Qualifications and Experience You will hold a bachelor's degree (BA) Hons in Construction Management, Beng in Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- CSCS minimum NVQ level 6 required SMSTS - Required Proven experience as a Contracts Manager delivering varied schemes across different build types An extensive knowledge of construction management software Procore, Field View etc Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Competent with use on Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint
