Company Overview:
We are working with one of the largest MEP contractors in the UK, delivering major projects across data centres, airports, hotels, healthcare facilities, and commercial environments. Renowned for their technical expertise and long-term project pipeline, this contractor places strong emphasis on career progression, training, and staff development.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor who is looking for long-term stability and progression within a market-leading business.
Role Overview :
As Mechanical Supervisor, you will oversee mechanical installation works on complex commercial fit-out and infrastructure projects. You will manage site teams and subcontractors, ensure quality and safety compliance, and support the successful delivery of high-profile schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise mechanical installation works on commercial fit-out projects.
* Manage site labour, subcontractors, and daily site activities.
* Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme.
* Maintain high health & safety standards and carry out site inspections.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades.
* Carry out quality checks, snagging, and assist with commissioning and handover.
* Report progress and issues to senior site management.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within the MEP/building services sector.
* Strong background in commercial fit-out projects (essential).
* Minimum 5 years traceable work history (essential).
* Must live within 1 hour of Heathrow (essential).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ / HNC / HND desirable).
