Live role for a enthusiastic, motivated Assistant Site Manager who is looking to develop with a business. This is a brilliant opportunity for the right candidate to join a well established and growing principle contractor who deliver high-quality residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, an Assistant Site Manager is needed to support Site teams and help drive projects forward safely, on time and to a high standard.
About the Assistant Site Manager role
You will work closely with the site manager to ensure the smooth day to day running of the site.
- Support Health & safety compliance and site inductions
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades on site
- Monitoring quality, progress and workmanship
- Assisting with site documentation, reports and inspections
- Helping ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirements needed for the Assistant Site Manager role
- Previous experience in a construction with a main contractor - background in residential developments ideal.
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good organisation and communication skills
- Ability to work well as a part of a team
- Enthusiasm and drive to progress and develop with the business
- Proactive, reliable and keen to learn
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
- Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering desirable
