London or Croydon office – Projects across London & South East

Up to £45,000 (depending on experience) + excellent benefits package

Carriera is excited to partner with an international multi-disciplinary construction consultancy that has been established for over 70 years and boasts a headcount of over 1,800 construction professionals. Our client is recruiting a Junior CDM Advisor / Principal Designer with around 6‑24 months experience to join the team out of their Croydon office. The role advises on the 2015 CDM regulations and offers a health & safety service to clients across London and the South East, managing a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, healthcare, leisure, arts and mixed‑use projects on a regional basis.

• Offer a variety of health & safety services to a diverse client base across the built environment.
• Manage the H&S file, review construction phase plans, maintain pre‑construction information and conduct design risk reviews.
• Attend design team and client meetings and offer advice relating to risk.
• Provide a CDM Advisor service to clients.
• Ensure all RAMS are in place on projects.
• Carry out site safety inspections and audits.
• Develop new and existing client relationships.

• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
• Professional membership to IOSH and APS (desirable).
• Good knowledge and hands‑on experience of 2015 CDM Regulations including all associated documentation.
• Have worked in the property & construction sector in the last 24 months in a H&S capacity.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
