Materials Buyer (House builder) | Permanent | North East London

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + package

I have an excellent opportunity for a Materials Buyer to join an award winning house builder on a permanent basis, based out of their offices in North East London.

The company have been around for many years and have evolved into one of the leading house builders in the Country, with regional offices across the South East of England.

Their developments range from large family homes and luxury houses for growing families to city centre apartments. They are quality focused and are recognised as one of the leading, most trusted provider of quality homes throughout the UK.

They are looking for a Materials Buyer to join their commercial team as soon as possible. The Materials Buyer will report to the Procurement Manager and be responsible for procuring a range of materials on large residential schemes up to circa £30m. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Experience:

• Track record working for a reputable house builder as a Materials Buyer
• Excellent procurement experience on large residential schemes
• Strong commercial skills and awareness
• Good communication skills internally and externally
• Be a team player but also able to work using own initiative
• High level of computer literacy
• Good longevity with previous employers
• Able to commute to North East London on a daily basis
