I am recruiting for a Site Manager in London and the surrounding areas, paying up to £65,000. Ideally this will be a permanent role however they will consider long term freelance candidates.

This specialist contractor works on high profile historical buildings, and you must have experience in this sector to be considered.

Responsibilities and role:

* Reporting into a visiting Contracts Manager

* Management of sub-contractors

* Responsible for Health & Safety

* Checking quality of work carried out

* Setting own programme

* Liase with the client and the public

Requirements:

* Trade or construction degree background

* Experience working for a similar company in the past

* Excellent techncial knowedge

* Experience on historical buildings

* SMSTS

* First aid qualified

* CSCS card holder at Manager level

* Safety trained in Construction Site Safety

* Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate at all levels

Salary and benefits:

* Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience

* Benefits package
