Overview
Marylebone Services are working with a well-regarded nursery based in Fincheley Road, London, seeking a passionate and experienced Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a full-time, 46 weeks/year position with a competitive salary. The role requires working Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm with children aged 18 months to 5 years across two rooms, a sensory room and a garden.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery.
- Supervise, safeguard and play with children.
- Work closely with parents and create trusting relationships with all families.
- Plan and implement engaging learning experiences that stimulate children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Maintain accurate records of key children’s development and learning journeys and share with parents, carers, and other key adults in the child’s life.
- Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all children.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and the management team to maintain high standards.
- Take responsibility for excellent hygiene, health and safety and security practices within the nursery.
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
- Minimum 1-year experience in a nursery setting.
- Understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding & EYFS.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
