Nursery Nurse

Overview

Provide high quality care and education while promoting health and wellbeing. Help children achieve the best possible start in life. Support the nursery educators in implementing the EYFS curriculum. Ensure learning is linked to the child's development. Plan for age appropriate activities. Communicate with Parents/Carers and other external professionals.

• Collaborate with nursery staff to implement the EYFS curriculum and ensure learning is linked to the child’s development.
• Plan age-appropriate activities and monitor progress.
• Communicate with Parents/Carers and other external professionals.
• Maintain a positive, caring environment to support children’s early learning and wellbeing.
• Assist with day-to-day care and education in line with regulatory and safeguarding requirements.

• Experience in a Nursery setting.
• Qualified to at least Level 3 in childcare studies; NVQ Level 3 or NNEB or equivalent.
• Paediatric first aid qualifications preferred.
• Enhanced DBS required.
