Rosemount Pre School Nursery is a privately owned setting in Muswell Hill, London N10. Established since 1996 we offer part time and full time care and education to children aged 2-5 years (currently rated Good by Ofsted). Open for 50 weeks of the year. We are currently recruiting a full-time Level 3 childcare qualified early years practitioner for immediate start to join our friendly and energetic team.
The role consists of being a key person for a small group of children, carrying out observations, and planning for next steps, along with the day-to-day general care of the children. Responsibilities include teaching planned small group sessions, and record keeping of key child developmental files. The successful candidate must be committed with a strong desire to help the children achieve their full potential.
Ongoing training in all early years matters is given, as we encourage and assist in continuous professional development.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g. NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
- Experience in an early years setting.
- Excellent time management.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive, child-centred environment.
- Clear understanding of safeguarding, health and safety requirements.
- First Aid Certificate
- Safeguarding (Level 1 &
2) - Food Hygiene Certificate.
