Deputy Nursery Manager – Term Time

Early Years / EYFS | Orthodox Jewish Nursery — Hackney, London. Term Time Only | Permanent. We are a warm, well-established Orthodox Jewish nursery in Hackney seeking an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of our setting during term time. This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Years professional looking for a leadership role with a healthy work-life balance.

• Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations
• Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality EYFS practice
• Ensure safeguarding, welfare, and Ofsted compliance
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (or train towards this)
• Build positive relationships with parents
• Take charge in the Manager s absence

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or above (essential)
• Experience as a Deputy, Room Leader, or similar senior role
• Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
• Confident team leader, organised and reliable
• Respect for an Orthodox Jewish nursery environment
• Knowledge of Jewish festivals, customs, and dietary requirements is desirable
