Nursery Nurse (Part-time & Full-time)

As a Nursery Nurse, you’ll be part of a caring team that supports children from 3 months to pre‑school age. You’ll bring energy, creativity, and warmth to every day – helping little ones thrive in a safe, inclusive, and joyful environment.

• Full time: 40 hours a week
• Job shares: 2–3 days a week
• Part time: 20 hours a week
• Supply roles for a flexible work/life balance

Salary for Nursery Nurse is up to £27,040 per annum.

• Work with the team to provide high‑quality care for children aged 0–5.
• Ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the nursery by adhering to policies and procedures.
• Use your knowledge, experience, and imagination to develop new ideas and activities.
• Build relationships with children and communicate effectively with their parents.
• Make every working day enjoyable and engaging.

Located on Bridge Road, a short walk from Chessington North train station, bus stops, and local amenities, our nursery offers a welcoming, home‑from‑home environment. Bright, spacious rooms with free‑flow access to our gardens create an engaging space for children to learn and explore.

• Suitable qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
• Aware of the role of planning, observation, and keeping records when caring for nursery‑aged children.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
• A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
