Interim Procurement Consultant – 6 Month Contract
We are seeking an experienced Interim Procurement Consultant to support an education provider in the East Midlands in reviewing and strengthening its procurement processes.
This is a strategic and hands‑on role where you will analyse the current procurement landscape, develop a practical action plan, and implement improvements to ensure a robust and compliant procurement framework for the organisation.
The RoleThe successful consultant will:
- Conduct a full review of the schools current procurement processes
- Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Develop a clear and practical procurement action plan
- Design and implement a new procurement training programme
- Roll out the training to ensure long‑term compliance and best practice
We are looking for a consultant with:
- Strong understanding of procurement governance and compliance
- Experience delivering process improvements and training
- The ability to operate strategically while delivering practical implementation
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Hybrid – with at least one on‑site visit per week
