We’re working with a large international insurance group who are looking for a senior, experienced actuary to take the lead on a major group integration programme.

This is a high-impact, visible role where you’ll be responsible for setting direction, aligning methodologies, and ensuring consistency of assumptions across the group during a critical period of change. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working at senior level, bringing structure to complex environments, and making sure big programmes land smoothly and credibly.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Owning group-level actuarial methodology and assumption setting across the integration
  • Leading on reserving methodology and supporting wider IFRS implementation and governance
  • Working closely with business units to gather, review, and harmonise data into a consistent Group approach
  • Acting as a senior point of contact with the PRA
, ensuring strong documentation, governance, and best practice
  • Partnering with C-suite and senior stakeholders to drive alignment and decision‑making
  • Helping steer a complex, high‑profile integration to a robust and well‑governed outcome
What we’re looking for:
  • A senior actuary with deep experience in reserving, methodology, and assumption setting
  • Strong knowledge of UK regulatory and reporting frameworks (SII, Matching Adjustment, Internal Model, IFRS, etc.)
  • Comfortable operating at executive and board level
  • Experience working with regulators (PRA experience is a strong advantage)
  • A confident communicator who can influence, align, and lead across multiple teams
  • Available to start within 4–5 weeks
Why this role stands out:
  • A senior, high‑visibility role with real influence at group level
  • Focused on a strategic integration programme, not business‑as‑usual
  • Real ownership of methodology and assumptions across the organisation
  • Strong package plus completion bonus
  • Hybrid working with a London base

If you’re looking for a senior interim role where your expertise will genuinely shape how a group operates
, this is a standout opportunity.
