ABOUT YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Account Manager with a strong foundation in media relations and client leadership to support and grow our UK business. This role partners closely with the UK team to lead client accounts, oversee execution, and elevate strategic output.

You will serve as a primary day-to-day client lead, owning relationships, guiding account teams, and ensuring work is delivered at a consistently high standard. Success in this role requires strong judgment, autonomy, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 6–8 years of PR experience, ideally within an agency environment
  • A strong personal network of UK and/or international media contacts
  • Deep understanding of the evolving media landscape and news cycle
  • Proven experience leading client relationships and managing expectations
  • Ability to produce client-ready materials with minimal oversight or revision
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Serve as the day-to-day lead on client accounts, owning relationships, communication, and delivery
  • Lead media relations strategy and execution, including pitch development, media outreach, and coverage acquisition
  • Guide and review work produced by junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Lead and participate in client calls, status meetings, and strategic discussions
  • Draft and oversee interview briefs, campaign plans, and client-facing materials
  • Drive reporting and performance analysis, translating results into clear client insights
  • Partner with the UK leadership on account planning, resourcing, and growth opportunities
  • Maintain strong, professional communication across internal and external channels, responding to client needs with speed and clarity
  • Support operational oversight across accounts, including timelines, deliverables, and internal coordination
