What You’ll DoA key priority for BCG and our Operational Innovations team is to accelerate and support both the digital and operational transformation and innovation of our own firm. The group works with senior leaders of individual functions and geographies to define and prioritize improvement initiatives, manage the portfolio of projects consistently, accelerate analytics and redesign processes, assist functional project owners to drive change throughout the firm, and oversee development of measurement and monitoring tools that define progress and value delivered.
KeyActivities and Responsibilities
- Provide content support, research, expertise, analyses, and documentation to support project management and accelerate improvement initiatives.
- Support development of deliverables such as business improvement plans, process design, communication and engagement plans, implementation plans, and supporting analyses.
- Identify potential investments and process improvements, assist in defining end‑state processes and organizational models.
- Support on‑ground implementation of change initiatives, enabling impacted users and embedding behavioral change.
- Translate project objectives and change needs into concrete employee communications, engagement actions, and campaigns.
- Track project success and progress, ensuring objectives are realized on time and within budget.
- Support development of senior management reporting and broader communications.
- Organizing and managing project details with a bias for getting to great output quickly.
- Working in a complex environment at pace, managing multiple deliverables and high‑impact, time‑sensitive requirements.
- Data analysis, drawing insights and shaping project plans, business cases, etc.
- Stakeholder engagement, influencing complex matrix organizations.
- Structuring and analyzing information into useful deliverables.
- Culture and collaboration, caring deeply about colleague experience and engagement.
- Learning and adapting, consistently curious, open to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement.
- University degree or equivalent – ideally in a business related subject.
- Experience working in a multinational or large‑scale environment.
- Data analysis – strong data analysis skills, able to communicate key insights effectively.
- Curiosity and focus on continuous development, learning.
- Creativity and openness to new approaches, digital tools, Agile methodologies.
- Project and Program Management a plus.
- The OI Leadership Team and OI team members, especially project managers and change managers.
- Internal clients and stakeholders to develop communications to deliver project and stakeholder change objectives.
- External associates – our network of BCG approved contingent resources, when appropriate.
