We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Buyer to join our Purchasing Team.
- Suppliers’ relationship:
- Negotiate best Commercial terms and prices (fully integrated – supplier & transport)
- Market and Trend analysis
- Build long term relationships with suppliers
- Data and Reporting
- Good knowledge of the food distribution sector – Ambient / Fresh / Frozen goods.
- Strong Organisational and Planning skills.
- Ability to focus and prioritise tasks.
- Good Communicator – both internal and external Stakeholders
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Education or experience in Procurement or Supply Chain is an advantage
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Some knowledge of Supplier Approval Procedures would be advantageous.
