The Opportunity

Chaucer is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Event Executive to support our event and marketing team, with a primary focus on managing hospitality tickets for our sports memberships. This role is ideal for someone looking for the next step in their events career, offering hands-on experience in event logistics and organisation with large sponsorship activations and internal and external events. You’ll work closely with the Events Manager and other members of the marketing team to ensure a premium experience for all hospitality and event experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hospitality Ticket Management:
    Oversee the allocation, distribution, and tracking of hospitality tickets for our memberships.
  • Event Management:
    Plan and coordinate a diverse portfolio of events, including match hospitality and client functions.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Liaise closely with our Distribution Team, venues, and suppliers.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    Maintain accurate records of ticket usage, member preferences, and event attendance.
  • Onsite Assistance:
    Support during matches and hospitality events, helping with guest registration and logistics.
  • Post Event Analysis:
    Gather feedback after events to help improve future event and hospitality experiences and budget tracking.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of event management software or ticketing systems is a plus.
Working Pattern

You would be required to be in the office on Tuesday and Thursday to collaborate with the team and learn about Chaucer’s operations. You may also be required to work out of normal office hours and have the flexibility to work remotely on other days.
