Commercial Associate Director - Tourism Economics

This position will be an integral part of the Tourism Economics Business Development Team.

The key responsibilities within this role are as follows:
Key ResponsibilitiesSales
- Drive sales growth in TE solutions for the region
- Gather client intelligence and identify key individuals for outreach
- Generate leads, campaigns, outreach and support ongoing opportunities
- Build an established pipeline, working with, rest of TE BD and the local BD and economists to close opportunities
- TE product champion
- Identify market challenges/opportunities and adjust sales approach accordingly
- Attend networking events and build and manage industry relationships
- Become proficient in the full TE offering
Internal Communication
- Liaise with Commercial Director on commercial strategy.
- Work closely with global TE BD team
- Track and communicate opportunities, challenges and feedback
- Use Salesforce for all sales activity
- Liaise with EMEA business development team
- Work closely with EMEA Tourism economist team and support management of projects
- Feedback on challenges/opportunities to advise product team
Required:
A proven, demonstratable sales track record, with experience in a B2B Travel environment
- Knowledge of the Europe region
- Experience in the travel sector
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong presentation and writing skills, confident on the phone with prospects/clients
- Representing a company at industry events
- Experience with Salesforce
- Travel to Europe required
