French Speaking Logistics Coordinator - What You'll be Doing Each Day:

Liaise (French/English) and co-ordinate efficiently between the group companies, sales groups, distributors, suppliers and service providers for the supply and distribution of products overseas (Mainly Spare Parts and support for Vehicles Businesses).

  • Analyse and assess monthly orders in terms of planning and organising delivery and shipment
  • Establish and sustain close supplier relationship(s).
  • Update and maintain accurate records
  • Issue commission reports in accordance with policy/procedure
  • Organise the shipments through our Service Provider.
  • Issue relevant shipping documents on our bespoke SPEXS system in a timely and accurate manner for agent to complete customs clearance and issue B/L or other.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner (Final documents to customer) as per procedure
  • Dangerous goods forms
  • Deal with insurance matters for part/vehicle damage according to procedure as appropriate
  • Liaise with customers’ forwarders to ensure smooth deliveries / export clearance.
  • Raise export invoices on bespoke SPEXS system
  • Check, process and distribute all cost invoices
  • Manage AR/AP account of responsible customer to receive/make payments within appropriate period
  • Check advance or credit payments from customers and maintain exposure, credit/debit record.
  • Issue reports to accounts for Spare Parts (monthly)
  • Check gross profit at each month end and financial year end
  • Check and analyse GP/PL and identifying any problems
  • Checking accounting reports at month end, account for all costs and sales, including insurance/freight and goods.
  • Account Management/Closing – responsible for managing own accounts
  • Maintain and issue monthly reports on inventory spreadsheet for accounting purposes for Spare Parts and OEM products
  • Prepare monthly sales, forecast data and stock data for Department Manager in accordance with policy/procedure
  • Support Manager with providing translation of reports and simultaneous interpreting in meetings as and when required
  • Submitting figures to Manager for Budget Preparation
  • Ensure knowledge of imports/exports is kept up to date on legislation changes
  • Kaizen business processes

French Speaking Logistics Coordinator - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • French Speaker–Fluent
  • Experienced in issuing shipping documentation for export
  • Great attention to detail
  • Knowledge of INCO terms
  • Knowledge of stock handling in/out
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • L/C knowledge is a plus!
