PSE Consulting would like to offer you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the fast-moving world of payments. From embedded finance to agentic commerce, steered by increasing regulatory scrutiny, the payments industry is constantly evolving and we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic to become deeply engaged in this essential element of the UK and global economies.
Job overview and opportunitiesAs a junior consultant you will learn about all aspects of payments and, with the support of our expert team, deliver actionable insights to major players in the industry.
The role combines detailed analysis and research with presenting your findings to our blue‑chip clients. These include the card schemes (eg Visa and Mastercard), major banks, fintechs and multinational corporations. You will also have important responsibilities in maintaining our foundational data sets of market information that most of our projects draw on. The varied nature of our assignments and detailed data work mean that you will have first-hand exposure to and will, in time, develop a deep knowledge of the global payments industry.
PSE Consulting is one of Europe’s leading payments consulting firms and we are widely respected for our high-quality expertise. Most of our work covers the UK and Europe but we have a global reach with many projects embracing Asia, Australasia and the Americas.
We are a small, friendly consultancy meaning that your contributions will matter from your first day and you will also be able to develop your own niche areas of expertise and refine your role as you gain experience. As you do so, you can expect to increase your salary rapidly, subject to performance.
