We are seeking a Commercial Insights Analyst to support our Revenue Operations function with deep, actionable insights that enhance sales effectiveness, marketing performance, and go‑to‑market success across customer segments. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with data to uncover trends in productivity, efficiency, deal velocity, and segment performance—and who can partner with cross‑functional teams to turn those findings into strategic initiatives.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Analyze sales funnel performance to identify drivers of win/loss outcomes across geographies, segments, product lines, and sales motions.
- Deliver insightful reporting on sales effectiveness, conversion rates, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy to enable better decision‑making.
- Support segmentation strategies by evaluating segment‑level performance (e.g., SMB vs. mid‑market vs. enterprise) and advising on tailored approaches.
- Build and maintain dashboards that track KPIs such as win rates, average deal size, cycle time, pipeline coverage, and rep productivity.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to optimise territory planning, quota setting, and sales process improvements.
- Develop reporting to evaluate marketing strategy effectiveness and identify the most efficient demand sources by segment.
- Support enablement initiatives by identifying training and coaching opportunities based on rep and team performance data.
- Conduct ad hoc deep dives on strategic questions such as pricing performance, discounting trends, churn reasons, and expansion opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Commercial Analysis, or Business Intelligence—ideally within a SaaS or software company.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working in Salesforce, Excel, and Power BI.
- Deep understanding of B2B sales/marketing funnels, pipeline management, and sales KPIs.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for sales leadership.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working with data modelling tools.
- Experience supporting sales teams in different segments (SMB, Mid‑Market, Enterprise).
- Understanding of SaaS sales metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, ARR, NRR).
- 25 basic holidays with the option to grow up to 30, plus service holidays, birthday off, and bank holiday pay.
- Flexible working hours and hybrid working environments.
- Wellness activities and the option to add gym subscription discounts.
- Company‑provided laptop and equipment.
- Opportunities to grow with certifications.
- Cycle‑to‑work scheme and season ticket loans provided.
- Pension and life insurance options provided.
- On‑demand pay tools for access to salary before the end of the month.
