Our Business Development team support Saltgate’s new business objectives across all jurisdictions.

Your role

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will develop, execute, and continuously refine Saltgate’s business development strategy in alignment with organisational goals.

Your Focus
  • As a trusted and well‑known name in the alternative funds community you will credibly engage within your established client and intermediary network to successfully develop and grow the business
  • Represent Saltgate credibly and confidently in pitches, presentations, and industry events inspiring confidence in prospective, presenting with clarity, conviction and enthusiasm
  • Ability and willingness to sit on client boards and support clients and other Saltgate employees as a sensible and commercial board member
  • Widen Saltgate’s product risk appetite, particularly in high‑growth or emerging markets
  • Technologically articulate with a good understanding of AI and related technologies that impact or may impact the alternative fund sector
  • Able to understand and describe Saltgate’s technology solutions and to translate those into value for clients.
Your Experience
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, including reporting and analysis of business case development
  • Results orientated, consistently striving to deliver regardless of market
  • Successfully built a client book of business and is experienced working in a target led environment
  • Highly accountable with a clear sense of ownership
  • Drives engagement and fosters an environment where people are motivated to achieve business objectives
  • Client focused with a demonstrated awareness of the importance of building and maintaining client relationships, focused on delivering optimum client solutions.
