The organisation is focused on modernising its commercial operations and aligning procurement activities with strategic goals such as sustainability, social value, and financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage end-to-end procurement projects.
  • Ensure value for money and alignment with strategic and financial objectives.
  • Advise stakeholders on procurement strategy, compliance, and best practice.
  • Deliver procurement in line with UK Public Procurement Regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of category management.
  • Use data insights to drive decision-making and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Provide training and support on e‑tendering and procurement tools.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date procurement templates, processes, and intranet content.
  • Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Integrate social value, sustainability, and innovation into procurement activities.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience managing procurement projects, ideally in the public sector.
  • Knowledge of UK procurement legislation and tendering procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with e‑tendering systems and procurement platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and shape strategy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
