Role Overview

Title: Senior Business Development Manager (Telecommunications)

Location: Central London, UK (2 days per week in the London Office)

Package: £70,000-£100,000 per annum, 50% Performance Bonus & Benefits

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Managing and expanding strategic accounts with key telecom clients across the UK, including operators, service providers, and network vendors.
  • Driving new business acquisition by identifying high‑value prospects, managing pipelines, forecasting, and closing deals.
  • Applying consultative sales approaches to position complex digital, software, and network solutions—covering areas like network modernization, cloud transformation, digital services, and customer experience (CX) initiatives.
  • Collaborating with delivery, product development, and marketing teams to craft compelling client propositions and tailored campaigns.
  • Representing the organisation at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen our presence in the telecommunications market.
Main Skills Needed
  • Proven experience selling IT services, software solutions, or platform delivery to telecom operators, service providers, or related technology partners.
  • Strong track record in consultative selling, strategic account management, and closing enterprise deals.
  • Established network of contacts within the telecommunications sector is essential.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills with C‑level and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and execute commercial‑focused sales and account plans.
  • Demonstrated Go To Market (GTM) experience, including territory planning and business growth strategies.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with delivery, product, and marketing teams to shape client value propositions.
  • Deep understanding of telecom networks, cloud and digital services, platform integrations, and regulatory requirements.
