Position: Facilities Supervisor (Permanent)

As Facilities Supervisor, you’ll help ensure the school’s buildings, grounds, and learning environments operate safely, smoothly, and to the highest standard. You’ll support the delivery of an efficient facilities service that enables staff and students to focus on teaching, learning, and thriving every day.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the delivery of the school’s facilities and estates strategy

* Supervise day‑to‑day facilities operations across the campus

* Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and statutory requirements

* Assist with planned and reactive maintenance, coordinating contractors and site staff

* Monitor budgets and ensure value for money across facilities activities

* Support minor projects, refurbishments, and sustainability initiatives

* Act as a first point of contact for staff regarding facilities issues and service requests

Requirements

* Experience in facilities, estates, or site operations

* Strong understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* Ability to supervise contractors and work collaboratively with internal teams

* A hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach

* Confidence managing workloads, prioritising tasks, and responding quickly to issues
