The Company / Role
My client are a Specialist Construction Contractor, seeking a highly organised and proactive Commercial Assistant / Project Coordinator to support the Operations Manager, across the delivery and commercial/contractual management of live construction projects.
This role blends project administration, programme tracking, and key commercial duties, providing central support to both operations and commercial functions.
Project / Operational Support- Coordinate and monitor project programmes, tracking progress against key milestones.
- Liaise with Site Contracts Managers to gather progress updates and operational information.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation, reports, trackers, and records.
- Support budget monitoring and commercial control across live projects.
- Record, log, and track variations and other commercial items from site.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly applications to Main Contractors.
Experience in a Commercial Assistant, Commercial Administrator, Project Administrator/Coordinator or Assistant QS role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good numerical ability and commercial awareness.
Previous experience in a similar role, in the construction industry is essential
LocationThis can be a hybrid working arrangement, with minimum of x2 days in their HQ near St Pancras.
