This time, we're on the lookout for a Central Merchandising Admin Assistant who will be working with Charles from our Central Merchandising team.
What You Will Be DoingThe primary purposes of the Central Merchandising Admin Assistant are to provide admin support for the Retail and Online Custom Shirts offer, set up and maintain Catalogue Flat-plans, to assist in the management of Price Files and support the wider Merchandising team.
Key Responsibilities Custom Shirts- Raising Retail Custom Shirt orders and being the key point of contact between the Stores and the Supplier
- Administrative support for the online Custom Shirts offer, managing queries through the Custom Shirts inbox and liaising with Customer Services
- Continuous improvement by streamlining current processes on Custom to increase efficiency
- Monitoring fabric stock levels and maintaining order limits
- Ensure marketing campaigns can be fully supported from a stock perspective
- Support the set up and launch of new fabrics
- Process Custom invoices and manage Custom invoice reconciliation with the Accounts team
- Liaise with the Technical team on any supplier challenges and manage communications throughout investigations and conclusions
- Ensure completion of catalogue flat plans with accurate data based on the running orders supplied by Marketing and ensure a timely handover to the Catalogue Design team
- Liaise between Buying, Core Merchandising, Marketing and Catalogue Design on stock availability
- Manage the Catalogue checking process, working closely with the Buying and Merchandising teams
- Develop a robust understanding of how catalogues are produced and the associated critical path
- Maintain pricing to always ensure accuracy for all markets, under guidance from the Assistant Merch Analyst
- Develop a robust understanding of pricing policies and processes
- Set up new season Price Files in line with critical path
- Manage master data for all currencies and territories
- Ensure a timely handover of Price Files to Catalogue Design and Web teams
- Contribute towards continuous improvement by streamlining current Pricing Processes to increase efficiency
- Setting up accurate size breakdowns and raising purchase orders in line with internal and supplier critical paths
- Completing seasonal sizing analysis and propose size curve or size range updates
- Maintaining up-to-date delivery schedules and escalating any risks
- Acting as the main contact for suppliers on delivery matters
- Reconciling invoices by exception with Finance
- Creating and updating key departmental reports
- Support the wider team as required with ad hoc analysis and/or reporting
- Deputise for the Assistant Merchandiser during absence periods

Required Skills And Experience- Retail experience preferred but not essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - ability to build relationships across functions
- Takes initiative, with an interest in problem solving and logical thinking
- A proactive, can do approach
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload
- Attention to detail
- Strong numerical, analytical and interpretive skills
- Proficient Excel skills
- Maths GCSE grade 6 or above
