Location: Greater London

Join our client, a leading property company based in East London, as a Lettings Accounts Administrator. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team supporting the financial and administrative functions within a reputable estate agency.

To be successful in this position, you should have previous experience in lettings accounts, finance support, accounts administration, or property administration is essential.

What's on offer:
  • Hybrid working basis, allowing flexibility to work remotely from home 2 days a week and 3 from the Canary Wharf office.
  • Full time position
  • Working Monday to Friday - no weekends.
  • A strong basic salary between £30,000 - £32,000

Lettings Accounts Administrator requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities
  • Previous experience in lettings accounts, finance support, accounts administration or property administration is essential
  • Proactive, organised and solution-focused
  • Strong numerical skills
Duties for the Lettings Accounts Administrator role include:
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Issuing remittances and ensuring all documentation is correctly filed
  • Allocating incoming funds and reconciling accounts daily
  • Managing tenant and landlord account queries and chasing outstanding payments
  • Processing incoming invoices and determining appropriate allocation or action

    Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate digital filing systems and financial records
  • Supporting annual financial reporting and documentation requirements
  • Responding to daily email enquiries and resolving account-related issues
